Welcome to the website of Dr. James M. Blocher. Let's start with a little background. Dr. Blocher
graduated from McCluer North High School in Florissant, MO in 1976 and from the University of Missouri at St. Louis with a B.
A. in Biology in 1980. He then received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry
in 1984. He has been practicing in Decatur since 1989.
Services Provided
We offer exams, cleanings, periodontal treatment, fillings (both silver and tooth colored), crowns, bridges, dentures,
partials, extractions, orthodontics, root canals, Zoom In-Office Whitening, and Lumineers. Our newest innovation
is Cerec crowns and onlays. With this technology we are able to do crowns and onlays in one visit rather than two.

Hours: We are open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Practice Philosophy
Here at Dr. Blocher's office we strive to treat everyone like we would treat our own families. We will be as
gentle and quick as we can be while still doing a thorough job. In an emergency situation we will get you in as soon
as possible to get you out of pain. Our practice continues to grow through the referrals of our patients which we appreciate
very much. If there is something you are unhappy with, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will do our best
to accomodate you.
